Restoring a 1974 San Juan 24 Sailboat. Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Colligo Dux Standing Rigging. I decided to replace the standing rigging with Colligo's Dynex Dux. Dyneema SK-75 rigging. This is lighter and much stronger. Since I made my own line terminators or deadeyes, this was cheaper than the local rigger building stainless shrouds. I went with 5mm Dux. I machined my own terminators out of Delrin. Which has a very high compressive strength (think of halyards running across modern Delrin sheaves).
