Pacific Crest Trail Thru-Hike 2015. Pictures from mid-Cal to mid-OR. August 12, 2015. Day 111 Mile 1883. August 4, 2015. August 4, 2015. Another 29 mile day and , yes, I’m toast! I set up camp on a beautiful peninsula of Summit Lake. This stretch thru Oregon has been dotted with lake after lake. I take a swim and wash out my socks. The water is so clean and fresh. Way down below me I can see good size trout. Ramen noodles and chunky peanut butter for dinner…heaven! This may be my best campsite of the trip.
