Wednesday, February 15, 2012. Although it was never one of my favorite NES games, I have fond memories of Maniac Mansion. While it was heavily edited by Nintendo of America censors before its release, Maniac Mansion still retained a lot of its mid-1980s, B-Movie flavor. I'm sure you're shocked to learn that the plot revolves around saving your girlfriend. After Maniac Mansion, this plot device was never again used in video games. Remember how I implied above that you get to fight the mansion's residents?

Sunday, July 28, 2013. NES: Mike Tyson's Punch Out. Mike Tyson's Punch Out. Pink Jump Suits, King Hippo, and the originator of the People's Eyebrow, what could be better? I hate you all! So why is that one of my favorite gaming moments? Well, you will have to wait until I review Super Punch Out for that story. Needless to say, with out this version, the latter would not exist. I hated that guys as a kid! Oh yea, the original had Mike Tyson too. I remember as a child this game being ridiculously hard!
