Hot Cross Buns, Hot Cross Buns. One a penny, two a penny. The girls have been listening to nursery rhymes on Starfall and I thought it would be fun to make hot cross buns. Apparently Hot Cross Buns are a spiced English bun traditionally served at Easter time. The recipe we used is from this site. I'm just going to put down what we did.

It was fairly busy on a Saturday because there was like baseball or something in a nearby field so it was hard to find a place to park. Right next to a school. But it's away from the busy road so that's nice. The whole time we were at the park, Addy called these tower thingies her castles. Why do so many of these parks have climbing walls?

I finally did it: I got my Olive Garden black tie mousse cake imitation recipe "perfect." Perfect being defined as How I want it. Cake-y brownie, cream cheese mousse, custard, dark chocolate ganache, chocolate whipped cream and mini chocolate chips. It takes an afternoon to make, so its a bit of an investment of time. 3/4 cup heavy cream.
