約一ヶ月前の話だが、多くの被害があった、台風１５号で体験したこと。 実際に目撃したのが、東京電力所沢営業センター前の道路の倒木と、そこで起こった正常性バイアスだった。 あまりに必死な感じだったので、つい手を上げて合図してしまったが、わけがわからない。 この付近は、商業地域である所沢駅周辺から離れているが、市役所やその他の機関がある所沢の中心地だ。 そこで立ち往生してしまうようなことはないだろうと思い込んでいた。（渋谷で木が倒れたニュースを聞いたのは帰宅後）. はっきりと確認できたのが、倒木の手前、約200m～100mの間だったと思う。 結局、先頭の車は倒木の直前で止まり、Uターンした。すると後続の車も同じようにUターンして走り去っていった。 やがて車が途切れ、いなくなったころを見計らって、倒木のそばまで行ってみた。 しかし、やっぱり木が倒れて、通行ができないことを確認しただけだった。そのままUターンし、無事帰った。 この倒木へ向かっていく多くの車は、いわゆる正常性バイアスで、他の車が行くから行けると思ったのだろうか？ この拡幅工事が完成すれば、慢性的な混雑、渋滞が解消されて便...65288;最初この記...
