In keeping in touch with the un-known, what is known becomes at once more magical and more realistic. The unexpected still comes upon one, but in a way that seems to be only what is to be expected. The Meaning of Life? | Davies.blog
http://davies.blog.wordhospice.com/the-meaning-of-life
The Meaning of Life? I have got to a point in life (over 40) where I am looking back and thinking my life could have been different. Why is it that things start getting weird when one touches on esoteric truth? For example, in the Bible (a normal, widely known, generally-accepted ‘good book’) the seraphim have six wings, the cherubim each have four faces (of an ox, a man, a lion and a gryphon), and this is just a description of the higher angels, not something from Revelation. It seems the closer one gets to God, the less easy it is to talk about it in any normal terms and the more you see mythical creatures. December 17, 2013.

What I mean by this is that I no longer feel completely emotionally turbulent most of the time. This is much nicer for all the people around me! So that’s a good thing. However, some things seem to have disappeared along with the turbulence… and I quite miss them. This entry was posted in Uncategorized. November 14, 2013. SOMETHING ADDS UP FROM NOTHING.
