Jaime Hill Racing: Go Girls!
http://www.jaimehillracing.com/2015/05/go-girls.html
Thursday, May 28, 2015. It's no secret that mountain biking is a bit of a boys club.but if you were to visit Whistler, BC you'd never know it! Sure the ratio of guys to girls is still a bit swayed to the opposite sex but there are tons of women shredders in these parts and it's a trend i hope to see continue. This year I started coaching for the Dirt Series. One participant, Niki Gruttadauria. Just happened to be a writer for Live Strong Magazine. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Victoria Day long weekend would see Whistler host the GoFest Enduro. Which would also kick-off the North American Enduro Tour. Series. The race was comprised of 5 stages in total, sending riders all over the Whistler valley and down some favorites in the Whistler Bike Park. Steph and I celebrating her win! Ride Like A Girl. The GoFest Enduro saw us riders cover about 40km an...

Tuesday, July 15, 2014. The Canadian National DH Mountain Bike Championships is the highest level of DH racing in Canada and were held just last weekend at Sun Peaks Resort, BC. Record high temperatures in the resort last weekend turned the fast course into a dusty, rowdy, hole filled track, making it challenging in its own way. Photo credit: CBC Photo. There was a pretty good turnout of racers and a phenomenal vibe throughout the whole weekend! U17 ladies.future rippers! Over the weekend the course brok...

Jaime Hill Racing: March 2014
http://www.jaimehillracing.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Sunday, March 23, 2014. The snow has been melting quick here in Pemberton and the trails have been in amazing shape.it's been so great to be getting in some time on the trail bike in preparation for the start of the race season. Now that day light savings has passed there's also more daylight at the end of the work day, so there's so much more opportunity to get in some quick training laps after a hard day's work! Can't wait for Sea Otter Classic and the start of the race season.

Jaime Hill Racing: September 2013
http://www.jaimehillracing.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 9, 2013. Another end to a great season of racing. In good spirits even though there was no racing for me. In hopes of keeping my spirits up and cheering on all my fellow racers, I decided to head to Fernie to help volunteer and be my buddy Lula's support crew. It was definitely strange to be at a race and not racing, but it was great to be part of the action in some way and to say a seasonal "farewell" to some amazing racing buds. Fernie Alpine resort.not such a bad view. This injury wa...

Jaime Hill Racing: Life is like riding a bicycle...
http://www.jaimehillracing.com/2015/04/life-is-like-riding-bicycle.html
Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Life is like riding a bicycle. Albert Einstein once said "Life is like riding a bicycle - In order to keep your balance you must keep moving". This little gem really seems to resonate with me right now since I've had tons of competing priorities in general everyday life. Some days it feels like if I stop moving life will just catch up to me.so after returning home from Sea Otter, I had to keep things moving. Some big names were present in both the lady's and men's fields, and t...

Jaime Hill Racing: April 2014
http://www.jaimehillracing.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 26, 2014. Back in the N-Dub. It was a hectic and short week following Sea Otter.Fly home, work a few days, try to get some time in on the DH bike, set-up new suspension and then hit the road for North West Cup #1! The North West Cup MTB series is one of the most fun and chilled racing atmospheres.and it never disappoints from a racing perspective. This race was all about getting back in touch with my DH bike and testing out my new Marzocchi suspension. Coming into the finish. I moved one ...

Jaime Hill Racing: Playin'in the woods
http://www.jaimehillracing.com/2015/04/playinin-woods.html
Saturday, April 4, 2015. Thanks to a terrible snow season in the Sea to Sky Corridor it meant that off-season for bikes was all-time! With the ability to ride bikes through the entire winter, it meant that training had a whole lot more fun times and included much more time on the bike. Can't wait for more biking to come.
