Trusting the Lord to lead the way. Over the years it just becomes impossible to stay as close to all of your friends as you would like. You have a strong desire to, and perhaps you even make plans and get together once in a blue moon, but as we all grow up and get married and have kids and make more friends, we are perpetually torn in more and more directions. Wow, did that ever sound sappy? But it was honest. On October 15, 2008 at 4:09 pm Comments (2). On October 2, 2008 at 5:18 pm Comments (3).

Trusting the Lord to lead the way. So, some of my best friends and I took a trip to New York City over MLK weekend (also known in smaller circles as “inauguration weekend” or “the weekend after the airplane landed in the Hudson”). Why, you’re wondering? It was our 10 year friendiversary, naturally. On January 27, 2009 at 10:02 pm Comments (2). To TrackBack this entry is:. Trusting the Lord to lead the way. Well, they are both pretty good at golf. And James, well I think at this point he is more entertained by watching the rest of the family look silly than actually playing much himself. Wii highly recommend getting one and having your own family fun night. On December 28, 2008 at 11:51 am Leave a Comment. Trusting the Lord to lead the way. Jamey chose the “Crazy 8s” race in Kingsport, TN, as our first goal, and we tackled it on Saturday a week and a day ago. It’s an 8-K race, so basically 5 miles. It wasn’t for charity, I didn’t even raise money for a special cause (except perhaps the cause of not becoming flabby). And it was actually super fun. And this is a shot of my shirt after the race. GR-ROSS! No this is not touched up in any way, shape, or form. And yes, I. I blame the crowd in the first mile, and...

Trusting the Lord to lead the way. Raise your hand if you cannot stop watching the olympics. wow, typing with one hand goes really slowly. Anyhoo, i’m happy to admit that i’ve been quite taken with the games this year. i mean, michael phelps, hello please? And i never thought i’d say this, but at least the kids are out of town this week (at the beach with jamey’s parents). if they were here, then we wouldn’t start watching the games until 9 or 9:30, and what with the magic of tivo w...I’m admitting...

A Life Full of Surprises!: March 2011
http://butlersurprises.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
A Life Full of Surprises! My life has been full of surprises. some good. some bad.some LARGE. and some small. I love a good surprise and I have chosen to learn from the bad ones. Big surprises are awesome, but I like the "little" ones just the same :) I hope you'll enjoy reading about my "life full of surprises"! A Life Full of Surprises. A story to me means a plot where there is some surprise. Because that is how life is - full of surprises. -Isaac B. Singer. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Today I threw (lite...

On being and becoming a Bruce...: The other love of my life

On being and becoming a Bruce. The other love of my life. Since the photo montage to your dad was a smashing success with the people I know and don't know 'out there,' and I really am. In a sentence, you are the cutest, most cheerful, most imaginative and kind 2.5 year old in the world to your dad and me. We are only slightly biased.but believe me, I know lots of kids, so I'm sticking with this as truth. Here are some examples:. True confessions Beth, sorry! I love you sweet, sleeping girl. I am prou...

Trusting the Lord to lead the way. And just think, it was only 9 months ago that my dear husband came up with this gimmick as a way for us to blog regularly. Totally worked, right? We did have a fun October; we took a trip to N.C. and saw some friends, we did the obligatory pumpkin patch/corn maze visit, and of course there was Halloween. (which, by the way, we managed to snap a grand total of 4 pictures. we’re great chroniclers for our children’s posterity.). Wow, we have cute kids. But it was honest.
