Writer Digital Producer Enthusiast. Diet Foods Will Kill You: Reflections on “Fed Up” (Netflix). July 29, 2015. July 30, 2015. Me, aged 6, 11 and 16. I am a time traveller. It’s a funny thing, because I love Doctor Who so much. And I spend much of my adult life preoccupied with the future, but within the first four minutes of the Katie Couric-narrated. If you don’t know much about the link between obesity and processed (often sugary) food, then this film will give you a solid grounding. Having ...So, whi...

Writer Digital Producer Enthusiast. Golly Gosh I’m Quite Angry About Animal Testing in China. February 12, 2013. There aren’t many things that can keep me up at night, but I just found out that a lot of companies, including those I formerly respected (and even bought for family and friends as gifts) are now animal testing once more in order to profit from the burgeoning Chinese economy. And what necessity is there to rub shea butter into a rabbit? It’s an entirely natural product that has been used...

Writer Digital Producer Enthusiast. Throwing it all out. July 15, 2015. July 15, 2015. A friend and former housemate of mine here in Canberra starting doing something highly inspirational as we were moving out of our shared abode. He started throwing everything that he didn’t need out. Which brings me to the less physical part of our tale. 8220;Until we meet again,” and all that. On the surface of a planet that is connected to the point of electrocution, we are taped together far beyond the natural expir...

Writer Digital Producer Enthusiast. It’s so terribly noisy in here. June 8, 2016. June 8, 2016. A note to (and from) my brain. When was the last time you wrote for pleasure? When was the last time you let the words move from your brain to your fingertips with alarming speed, with no care for their destination or purpose? When did you last write without ambition aforethought? But where do you go, dressed like that? How do you marry creative form with the work ethic of professional function? July 29, 2015.

Writer Digital Producer Enthusiast. Things I did today that most people would affiliate with the year ticking over. January 1, 2014. At least it will look nice while I’m not using it. I unsubscribed from a bunch of useless mailing lists that irritate me with their ‘offers’ and ‘news’ every time I check my personal email. I assigned myself various cleaning duties on a Chore Pad with the desperate hope of becoming one fifth as organised (but hopefully only half as crazy) as my mother. The Wolf Of Wall Stre...

Retro Theme 2006 – 2008. Sketches 2011 – 2012. The latest project that I created was based on the town Porthmadog, North Wales. This projects brings a personal connection of childhood and birth. When living there, everything seemed to be perfect the town it’s self, the people, scenery, culture, smell of fresh air, family and friends. As for these many wonderful things, as an opinion, Porthmadog is no longer a beautiful place. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here. Address never made public).

Rhiannon Jones, Counselling and AAT. Tuesday, May 12, 2015. When you don't have a therapy pet.yet. This is another commonly asked question I get from Clinicians' who want to incorporate an animal into their practice but currently do not have an animal or at least one that is appropriate. I can't help you decide on what breed but I can give you some things to consider. Monty is one of the smallest dogs in the visiting program. Common breeds have been Golden Retrievers, Shepherd breeds, Greyhounds, Labrado...

Rhiannon J. Taylor. Ramblings of a Highly Opinionated Writer and Bibliotarian. How To Give Critique: The Do’s And Don’ts, PART III. And now we get to the do’s and the don’ts. When critiquing someone’s work, either for negative or positive comments, find. Of what you are critiquing on. Tuesday, 6 November 2012. Pulp Fiction is debatably one of Quentin Tarantino’s most influential and true piece of work, showcasing not only his skills as a director and the great performances he can motivate but his unique style and drive that his films have. Watch as a budding historian knits her way through graduate school and the planning of a wedding. Thursday, February 7, 2008. Some things are just cursed. The one thing Bradly wanted me to make him, above all others, was the Luchadore ski mask from. Son of Stitch 'n' Bitch. Although it had intarsia, which I hate, it would also be practical, given his early morning walk to the bus stop. It would keep him nose warm. So when I got more yarn, I sent about making it. I had to rip. Monday, January 21, 2008.
