Stories from our life: So thankful for my village
http://storiesfromourlife.blogspot.com/2013/01/so-thankful-for-my-village.html
Stories from our life. January 17, 2013. So thankful for my village. I think it's fair to be honest. there are some days when I wonder if it's too early to have a drink. And to be even more honest, sometimes a drink really does help. It gives me a moment to stop, to literally and figuratively let go of what is happening around me. I get to regroup and then turn around to face the rest of the day. And then I walked into my house. And there was my dad standing at the stove making grilled cheese sandwic...

Stories from our life: November 2011
http://storiesfromourlife.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Stories from our life. November 27, 2011. Decorating the Christmas Tree. The kids are the most excited about putting the star on the tree. We've decided that each year they will trade off who puts the star up. This was Natalie's first year with the honor. And for some lucky reason they were both great with the idea of Nathan taking it back off and getting to help out also. We'll see if that holds as the years pass. Sweet-I-Am and his friend. November 26, 2011. Later I remember searching a Christmas tree ...

Stories from our life: March 2012
http://storiesfromourlife.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Stories from our life. March 31, 2012. Easter fun at the firestation. I feel like our years are starting to have an anticipated rhythm. From one tradition to the next. I love it. I want to find new traditions to tuck into the spaces that are left open. Enjoying the McLane Fire Department Easter egg hunt is a fun tradition. Rain or shine. And actually, when it rains it's almost more fun. Almost. Andrew is still learning the art to an egg hunt. It was nice that he didn't have much competition this year.

Stories from our life. May 26, 2012. We are trying to take advantage of every beautiful day that we get. After a hard winter the sun is cherished. May 22, 2012. A touch of Pi Phi love. May 21, 2012. Although Nathan got in big trouble it would have been MUCH worse for him if Andrew had seemed upset. Moments la...

Stories from our life. December 26, 2011. The most wonderful bakers in the world made me this delicious cake. And then they decorated it with lots of love! 35 wonderful years. and many more to come. We enjoyed cake with the kids before heading out with our friends. And we continued our yearly tradition of staying at Alderbrook as my birthday gift. Stories from our life. June 3, 2012. A Celebration for Abigail. What a wonderful day. All focused on celebrating Abigail. The day started out with a breakfast with my best friends from high school. We easily could have spent hours more sitting at the restaurant. Then we did a quick photo shoot. Lots of belly shots and friendship pictures. I hope Abigail is able to meet each of her Aunties. I'm sure she can already feel their love. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Enjoying the Small Things.

Stories from our life. June 6, 2012. A day at the LBA park. I can't believe I had never been to this park! The kids and I met up with a friend and her kids. She and I are both pregnant. The kids are all close in age. What a great play date! There is a zip line! I'm thinking that the next time we go back I am going to give it a try. I wouldn't mind having this huge climbing web in our back yard. ;). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Enjoying the Small Things. Games for Gifts: Names and Faces.
