Mikumi National Park – all the rest. December 30, 2012. Here’s a collection of snapshots from the rest of our trip to Mikumi. Welcome to the Tan-Swiss hotel. We stayed at the lovely and affordable Tan-Swiss lodge. We missed the Christmass special dinner (you have to add the extra “s” at the end or it becomes in Swahili “krismasi”) and just had the regular food, but enjoyed the tree decorations never-the-less. The dining area at Tan-Swiss. Walkway to our rooms. All the other animals. Back at the hotel.

World AIDS Day 2012. December 3, 2012. Michelle and I drove to Lindi, Tanzania for World AIDS Day and the ceremony signing the new Global Fund Agreement for Tanzania. Lots of bigwigs.
