There it had stood for all the twelve years of our living at this address- a beautiful slim mountain ash (according to my husband) or white birch (according to me- but I don't know enough about trees to know who's right). It didn't deserve to die. I felt like a murderess. We loaded all the branches into our utility trailer and cut up the top part of the trunk into logs for our wood pile. That was on Thursday afternoon, April 25th. One of my neighbors saw me out shoveling dirt back...

Monday, August 15, 2011. The Summer of 2011. I've had a really nice summer this year. The family met in Park City for rock climbing, playing in the park, and just hanging out and enjoying life together. Don and I went to the Vernal temple where I caught some exciting sunset and sunrise images. I was able to spend a weekend at Kirsten and Richard's and see the house they have made an offer on. I was sitting on the front row, probably a Sunbeam at 3 years old in primary. I was thinking should I be good or evil. I decided to be good. Then I thought should I go on a mission? Well good people will go on missions. So at that very moment I knew that I would serve a mission at there very young age. November 5, 2011 the fact I am going to serve became very real.
