The cooler was full of ice. There were chips, sunflower seeds, oranges, and other assorted eats and drinks. We were about 12 hours, according to how we drive, from Greeneville, TN, where our long time friends, the Johnson’s live. We drove to the edge, almost, of MO and camped for the night. Are original plan was to go to Mexico on our way to Texas although, due to multiple warnings from multiple people, we changed our plan and headed for Arizona. We drove all day, July 13th, and arrived at the Miller’s home on the fourteenth. It was hard to believe it had been an entire month since we were last there.
