Prairie Knitter: June 2006
http://prairieknitter.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 29, 2006. Somehow, it always comes back to me. I haven’t mentioned this before, but one of the major things occurring in this house right now is that my husband is going to climb Mt. McKinley (or Denali, as it is rightly called in Alaska) next year. You know, the highest mountain in ALL OF NORTH AMERICA. He’s been climbing mountains for years, and has even done a couple glaciated mountains, but Denali. He needed, maybe, something LIKE THIS:. Yep, we copycatted Nanda. Monday, June 26, 2006.

Prairie Knitter: February 2006

Tuesday, February 28, 2006. This is too much to ask for a damn associates degree. I deserve a complimentary master's just for. Soyeah. At 5:30 tonight, I’ll be sitting at my lab station with my clear plastic container of shit sitting in front of me, trying not to look anyone in the face because they just caught me furtively glancing at their poop. Which, let me reiterate, will be sitting in front of us. On a table. Keep me in your thoughts while y’all are enjoying your dinner tonight! I LOVE this pattern!

Exotic yet ordinary: Part of my evening went like this
http://exoticyetordinary.blogspot.com/2009/10/part-of-my-evening-went-like-this.html
Saturday, October 03, 2009. Part of my evening went like this. So, Maya is curled up beside me on the couch, sipping apple juice from a regular, non-sippy cup cup (yay! While watching the Grinch as he grinches the Cat in the Hat. A few minutes into the show, I notice that Maya has gone from sipping the apple juice to swishing it, but I choose to ignore this, mainly because she spent part of her afternoon scrubbing the living room floor for fun. No really. Of all the options I gave her (chalk?

Tuesday, June 03, 2008. I just received an e-newsletter from a yarn company, in which ideas for Father's Day knitting projects were given. Prairie Knitter: Levi: Month One
http://prairieknitter.blogspot.com/2008/04/levi-month-one.html
Thursday, April 10, 2008. We brought you home from the hospital on New Year’s Eve. Wouldn’t it be nice to say that we stayed up with you until midnight and toasted the start of our first year as a family of three while fireworks exploded in the background? When you were a week old, however, you started to wake up more. You would often sit and watch the world around you, as long as you had a boob or a finger to suck on. We took you to Hideaway Pizza when you were seven days old, and you behaved ve...I pla...

Prairie Knitter: November 2005
http://prairieknitter.blogspot.com/2005_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2005. Must get happy. I'm pissing myself off. Geesh I just wrote two long-winded rants (as my rants tend to be) about how much my life sucks right now and I’m not about to post either one of them because I HATE blogs that rant about how much the author’s life sucks. So I deleted them and I’m trying to think of something positive to say, but it’s JUST NOT COMING! What’s wrong with this picture. Wasn’t I all thankful and shit just a few days ago? 2 There is also some Cool Whip.

Monday, October 31, 2005. Happy hallosleep.i mean ween.happy halloween. In Fight Club, our hero Edward Norton goes to see the doctor about his insomnia. His doctor tells him that you can’t die from lack of sleep. Now, I can separate fact from fiction enough to know that I can’t believe what this doctor character says. He is in a. But right now, it’s about all the hope I have. But enough about me. I’ll sleep when I’m dead. The kind that worship Satan! Happy Halloween and Happy November! Haven't been knitt...
