As a thanks to The Shreve, cast and crew of "Cool Dog," director Danny Lerner will present the movie at 6:30 pm Aug. 29 at the Regal Cinemas Bossier Corners 9. It's a one-time only private screening. Doors open at 6 pm. The movie was shot locally in early 2009 and produced by Studio Operations, a local subsidiary of Nu Image/Millennium Films. "The Last Lullaby," starring Tom Sizemore and Sasha Alexander, is being released after a run through 18 festivals and a handful of American cities. Director Jeffrey Goodman, a Shreveporter, will sign copies of the DVD Oct. 17 at Giuseppe's restaurant. Between 2 and 4 pm DVD is $20. She said the shoot will begin Sept. 30 but it could last longer than a single day. Expect day and night shoots. Additionally, she does not expect the cast to be there.
