Name reading help! - Takarazuka Journal
http://ekusudei.livejournal.com/561225.html
April 6th, 2015. Is there anyone who is familiar with Korean names who could help me with some readings? I know the Japanese pronunciation of these names, but to make things more authentic, I would prefer to write them more like the Korean pronunciation. They are supposed to be characters from Goryeo. The guesses I have below are basically just mushed together using pronunciations I found on wiktionary.org. 朴秀民 = Bak Su-min. 楚春 = Cho Chun. 楊康忠 = Yang Gang-Chung. 李成桂 = Yi Sung-gye. 金鶴桂 = Kim Hag-gye.

1789 - Takarazuka Journal
http://ekusudei.livejournal.com/561846.html
April 16th, 2015. Takarazuka Revue has bits of the 1789 press conference performances posted on their YouTube channel. Sigh* Why couldn't this. Have been the winter show? I'm not sure I care that much for the music, but the costumes are lovely, and I think Chappi is going to own. This show. I wonder how heavy her wig is? Also, oh my god, Rurika, what have you done to yourself? 2015-04-17 02:30 am (UTC). 2015-05-09 06:18 pm (UTC). 2015-04-17 04:27 am (UTC). I wish I could see this in person. It just sound...

Entries by tag: le muguet. July 15th, 2015. So, Kashihata Aiko (6th or so female Takarazuka playwright/director in the history of the Revue) appears to be writing a noir murder mystery set in medieval France. For her Takarazuka debut. Aim wild, Kashihata-san, aim wild. :D. I wonder how much this plot will change before they actually put it into production? My vote says it will be something completely different in five months. Comedy or Tragedy? - Takarazuka Journal
http://ekusudei.livejournal.com/560977.html
March 29th, 2015. Okay, so it turns out that my plan to work on Junction 24 next for TIP may be delayed. So the question is whether people prefer a comedy or a tragedy? Since we've just done Figaro and Berubara, I feel like that fits both categories. I know what I'm going to work on next, but then the one after. That I can't decide on Anna Karenina (Tomomin and Marimo♥). Or Say It Again (Two Gentlemen of Verona). Drop a comment below to let me know which you prefer? 2015-03-29 09:19 pm (UTC).

I found an absolutely neat little English-language pamphlet published by the Revue in 1949 and have put it up in the vintage community, for those of you who aren't yet members: here. It's locked, so you have to join to see it. I'd love help from the vintage buffs out there, as I'm trying to place the performances and actresses in the photos. 3. October 14th, 2012. Tell me, tell me .... - Takarazuka Journal
http://ekusudei.livejournal.com/562304.html
Tell me, tell me . June 25th, 2015. Contemplates* I've been kind of out of the fandom more than in it these past 6 months or so- other than putting out brush fires on the TW. But I have been keeping tabs on things off and on. Which reminds me of something I've been meaning to post about for (literal) months. What does everyone think of the "new" official web site. I wonder where they got that idea. *snerk*) Still, I miss having the option of the html version to fall back on. 2015-06-25 04:24 pm (UTC).
