Compensation from France for the border-blocking strike action? Um, no. as every isolationist state knows, what you need is a fence. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Inside the ...

And, after a missing a year last year, several packets of various sweet peas. Add to this rather eclectic selection my son's packet of California Giant Redwood doing their pre-planting cold stint in the fridge and it's no wonder the garden is never a symphony of well-planned or co-ordinated schemes. Cotton seeds can be purchased at Cotton Acres.

Film reviews, art reviews, garden blog, short stories, poetry, politics,. Thursday, 2 July 2015. Not quite so wordless Thursday. After the hottest July day since the last last one, it's very pleasant to have some rain today, a cooling tonic after yesterday's humid heat. I didn't get time to do a Wordless Wednesday yesterday so will make up for it today with some words as well. Flew by so quick in the garden but loving the start of a flamboyant July. Full blown tea rose. Chusa palm and climbing pelargonum.

Ripplestone Review Blog Fiction: Shut-Eye (a science fiction short story). Have you ever woken up with a jolt, as though you are falling but instead of landing, you wake up?
