George and Susan Bates Family: State X-C
http://sgbatesfamily.blogspot.com/2010/11/state-x-c.html
George and Susan Bates Family. Sunday, November 14, 2010. The last weekend in October, Katie and I had the opportunity to go to State with our girls' cross-country team. The race on Saturday had us all nervous. Some of us were worried it would snow! I really enjoyed going to State because it was fun to see the boys' team acheive their goal of becoming State Champions, and also it felt good to know that all of us on the girls' team did our best and had a good time. I ran state on that course!

We registered with the Idaho infant/toddler early intervention program for his therapy. They'll do an evaluation this week. Adam continues to learn and do more things that he could do before. George and Susan Bates Family: June 2010
http://sgbatesfamily.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
George and Susan Bates Family. Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Today the nurse got the okay to take off the neck brace. Adam also did a little breathing on his own. They turned off the ventilator for one hour, then took a blood test. He did just fine breathing and the blood test showed really good results! Last night, the nurse gave him a shot in the right leg, and he reached over towards it with his left hand. This is a complex movement for the brain, this is good. Tuesday, June 29, 2010.
