I have had the opportunity to be at home while our family is getting back on its feet from the birth of our second child - Harper. The time at home has allowed me to accomplish little jobs around the house, but most of all bond. To which how do you resist such a sweet request? A Place We've Never Lived. I've been a stepmother now for a little over 2 months. Certainly it has been an adjustment. I was fortunate enough to have spent a lot of time with Josh and Caleb on our own before my marriage. I'd taken care of them for whole weekends because of Kenn's work schedule. And lastly for today, here's a photo of Wesley's second haircut. I'm still getting used to it. I miss my little shaggy surfer dude, but he's still the cutest kid I know (but then again I'm partial! These are pictures from last week when we went over to Jeremiah's (affectionately known as "Miah" to Wesley)house to go swimming. These two crack me up when they are together. Just a quick update on my to do list :). 27 things to do/be doing before I turn 27:. Lose at least 30 lbs. This has been postponed. And 8k this has also been postponed. 3 enjoy date night with my husband at least once a month. 4 have a consistent quiet time. Make a new close friend. I've made a few! 6 find new depth in a current friendship. 7 rekindle an old friendship. 8 give away all of my unnecessary things (clothes, furniture, etc.) to someone who needs it. 9 take Wesley camping again. 17 be a mentor.
