If all else fails, wear pink! Tuesday, 26 February 2008. Oh ye of little faith! Everyone thought Julie Chrisitie was going to walk away with the Oscar, but it went to the actress who deserved it. Congratulations Marion Cotillard! So, I managed to get 12/24 awards right to come 3rd in the Rialto Oscars comp. Top score was 18, followed by 14. Won Best Song also. If all else fails, wear pink! Friday, 31 October 2008. OK, my body has finally adjusted (I think) to the whole grown up working thing. It has not been easy! I did get the job at Carlton Party Hire and so far, so good. It's interesting, the people are really nice and I have helium and a juke box to play with. I have decided that the whole 42 hour week is really not for me, especially since working out that I can make more in a week doing 4 fairy parties which is just 6 hours work! If all else fails, wear pink! Saturday, 23 August 2008. Long time, no blog. Hello dear readers, I have not forgotten you! I am nicely settled into my new house now, so things have finally calmed down a bit! Am still job hunting though, so the stress levels remain high. No luck so far. Have had a couple more interviews where I was second choice, and the job was given to someone with more experience. :(. I still have no desire to be a career woman. That said, I still don't want to be an unemployed bum!

If all else fails, wear pink! Sunday, 22 June 2008. Mummy's Boys and Boys in Frocks. So, I have the greatest bunch of friends ever! My regular readers will remember that for my birthday I was originally planning to get a group together to go see the stage show Priscilla Queen of the Desert. But it never happened. Well, the other morning I was whisked away up to Auckland to see it, by a fabulous group of ladies! So much fun, possibly one of the best birthday presents - and the best shows I've seen - ever!
