Choose Freedom - Choose Forgiveness!
http://anniecallahan.com/forgiveness
Study, write, teach the Word of God. Annie’s home church. Choose Freedom – Choose Forgiveness. October 22, 2014. The topic of forgiveness has been on my heart . . . What he did. What she said. What he didn’t say. When she didn’t stand up for you. When he left. When she betrayed you. And it hurt. It cut so deep, leaving a gaping hole, a wound that feels like it will never heal. The thing that seems like it will help you heal is. Hatred, revenge, never forgetting, and certainly not forgiving. From you, sai...

What About Women? Annie Callahan
http://anniecallahan.com/women
Study, write, teach the Word of God. Annie’s home church. September 29, 2014. I have the privilege of teaching a Bible class beginning late October. I am calling it. Restored Purpose – Discovering the Roles of Women in the Church. I believe that scripture points clearly to empowering women to serve, and lead as God calls them. Yet many have limited how and where women can fulfill their God-given roles. I know that this is not an easy topic, and one that has caused frustration, pain, and confusion for many.

Thinking Out Loud: April 2011

Wednesday, April 27, 2011. Pray With Power And Confidence. The earnest, (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. - James 5:16 Amplified. So here the Word of God says that your prayers are effective and powerful. You might say, “No, that verse says that the prayers of a righteous person. Are powerful, but I yelled at my wife, kicked the dog, ran a red light on the way to work, and cheated on my time card today. So much for my prayers&#...

Thinking Out Loud: Holy Living
http://rmcmpastor.blogspot.com/2012/04/holy-living.html
Tuesday, April 24, 2012. Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no-one will see the Lord. See to it that no-one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. (Hebrews 12:14, 15). If I were to ask you to make a list of your ten favorite Bible topics, ten things that you like to read about, study, or hear teaching on, would holiness be on that list? Take a look at Titus 2:11-14:. Let me explain something right here; holi...

Thinking Out Loud: March 2012
http://rmcmpastor.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Tuesday, March 20, 2012. 2 Timothy 1:7) For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. When I was in grade school, there was one particular kid that I was afraid of. He was the older brother of one of my best friends, and for several years I let him push me around. He was older than me by a few years, much bigger and stronger, and he had a nasty disposition–no excuses, just facts. The lawyers are licking their chops! Don’t let it happen to you! Thinking Out Loud: February 2011
http://rmcmpastor.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 23, 2011. This whole line of thinking really got me thinking about several things. For instance, isn’t it interesting that education is the world’s best solution to all the ills of society? They want to believe that enough education would eliminate the need for regulation inward or outward. But what is the real motivation behind this distain for law? Is it really that society would actually work better without law? Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). John and Karen Clement. THURSDAY MORNING P...

Thinking Out Loud: December 2011
http://rmcmpastor.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 22, 2011. Don't Eat Your Seed! DON’T EAT YOUR SEED! A couple of local businessmen purchased that land and began to develop it right about the same time we started trying to acquire the church property. They had big dreams and, to my knowledge, didn’t go about their plans in a foolish manner. But the sudden halt of work and commerce in the area took them out. It really breaks my heart to think about it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). John and Karen Clement. OUR WEBSITE and OTHER LINKS.

Thinking Out Loud: February 2012
http://rmcmpastor.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 28, 2012. And, Proverbs 4:20 says, “My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings.”. Sometimes we get frustrated with ourselves, or with God, because we just can’t figure out how to apply a verse like this in “real life.” Hopefully, by now, most of us have developed that habit of having a daily time in God’s Word and prayer. But when we leave that special time, how do we keep our ear inclined to the Lord? 8221; They haven’t had their ear inclined to their car ...
