redshoes on parade: February 2011
http://redshoesonparade.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
A description of the stuff that parades through my life. Wednesday, February 23, 2011. Off Brand Gummy Bears. In the cafeteria downstairs at the SLCo building they have been selling little baggies of gummy bears and worms for a RIDICULOUSLY high price. Like $0.90 for a small baggie. Yet, they look tempting, so when I was at Smith's last week and saw a bag of Kroeger brand gummy bears.I got 'em! 3) The crackly bear. I was drying them out for more chewing pleasure, but this one took the brunt of Utah's...

A description of the stuff that parades through my life. Saturday, September 27, 2008. Let Us All Press On. Ah, ha. I did it! Today I bought a press. A Vandercook 317. As you can see from the photo, there is a lot of work to do. Luckily my boss at T. Finds great joy in fixing presses up and has volunteered to help me. I can't wait! I own a press, look at me, does that make me grown up yet? Posted by rachel with redshoes on. September 27, 2008 at 8:59 PM. This comment has been removed by the author. Hmph)...

redshoes on parade: June 2012
http://redshoesonparade.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
A description of the stuff that parades through my life. Friday, June 15, 2012. A Benefit of Biking. OK, so some back story. I used to ride my bike a lot to get around when I lived in the city. Once I got married and found myself trapped in car-commuting it lapsed. Well recently I decided, HELK NO! I picked just the right time of year to start biking (a few weeks ago) because I was treated to the musky smell of the Tree of Heaven - Ailantus altissima. Links to this post. redshoes on parade: November 2010
http://redshoesonparade.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
A description of the stuff that parades through my life. Wednesday, November 24, 2010. The slow unwinding of a skein. New colors, patterns, textures to find. Will there ever come an end of the unraveling? Will we come to an end and then….nothing? Or, if there is an end, looking behind, we find not a jumble of ribbons gathered, but a weaving of love and learning. Finding out about someone is a wonderful process, an unraveling à deux. redshoes on parade: January 2011
http://redshoesonparade.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
A description of the stuff that parades through my life. Sunday, January 23, 2011. Get Thee Hence, Snow Devil. Sometime making new friends is instantaneous, with others it is sort of a slow acquisitional process. Some friendship making is very deliberate. While "manning" the ReVinylize booth at the State Fair I met a girl who worked for another green. Company. We enjoyed chatting during the event. Then we ran into each other a month later at another green. Posted by rachel with redshoes on. Binary takes ...

redshoes on parade: Currency Incongruity
http://redshoesonparade.blogspot.com/2011/03/currency-incongruity.html
A description of the stuff that parades through my life. Thursday, March 10, 2011. So I started thinking the other day about how incongruous our currency is. Usual change for $1, is broken up into a penny, nickel, dime, quarter. Our bills are. 1, $5, $10, $20, $50, $100. There is no quarter of 100, a $25, but we have quarters in change. We have no 20¢ cent piece. We had one but it was discontinued in 1878, after a short 3 year stint. Where is the consistency? Half-cent 1792 - 1857. Marie: and add show it...

http://redshoesonparade.blogspot.com/2011_03_01_archive.html
A description of the stuff that parades through my life. Tuesday, March 29, 2011. Not being the most. Courant of individuals, I was both delighted and a little bemused to learn that the combination of the numbers 1 4 3 means = I love you (representing the numbers in the words) http:/ www.netlingo.com/word/143.php. Really? Did you know about this? Oh, yeah, so instead of 1,4,3 meaning I love you I choose to say 8, and since 8 sideways is the symbol of infinity∞, it is like infinite love = rad! This is som...

http://redshoesonparade.blogspot.com/2012_09_01_archive.html
A description of the stuff that parades through my life. Monday, September 17, 2012. Let Us All Press On.again. Hey, Hey, Hey friends, (this reminds me of my nephew who while playing frequently refers to the imagined participants as "friend"). Well, since social media is supposed to totally be where it is at, I would like to refer you to a new blog of mine that is specifically for my letterpress passion: The Inky Pinky Press. Not to be redundant to the first post over there, but I have my press!
