A winter adventure – quite by accident! I hope they’re enjoying it as much as we did. The weather at the beach was cold and WINDY! Our one attempt at a campfire during the week – put it out 20 minutes later. So cold that the sand was frozen. Would you believe it was about 25 degrees! Love the soft light against the mountains.

School was out LATE for us this year! My last day was June 20th and we had reservations at Suttle Lake on the 21st…I was ready. I love my job, but the last few weeks are always crazy busy – I was looking forward to just relaxing for a couple of days and okay with doing absolutely nothing for a day or two.
