Seeing how its almost been a year since my last post, I thought Id reach a cold dead hand out of the drawing grave and try to resurrect my drawing ability while its still partially intact. Its gonna be rough for a while, but im back for now. Yo loving these always been a fan of your cafe sketches the one's of the dogs has a lot of movement an life in them an the old kat eating love the shape you used for the head always a nice treat to see you post well stay fresh as ever!

Wednesday, May 30, 2007. Started a weekly challenge, to take random words ie a noun verb adjective, and combine them for character ideas. Last week: deformed sorcerer. Im a bit late but here is my take. You blabbed, Quaid. You blabbed about Mars! I love that "elephant". Haha, awesome drawings, and great idea for coming up with some interesting characters! Yeah, elephant-man sorcerer is my favourite, great stuff, all three :). I wanna try that some time.hope all is well dude! Still enjoying your blog.

Friday, June 08, 2007. The first week of mermaids are due today, these are the least disturbing that I drew. Im trying to keep a pg-13 rating on this thing. Hey, nice drawings. I really like the bottum one with old mermaid oggling the young mermaid. I see you also employed the unusual use of starfish. Are you water coloring your drawings these days? These have got that classic Disney appeal. I can see them as conceptual art for a Disneyland mermaid lagoon area. Very cool! Hehehe those are funny ;),really!

Aug 5, 2009. Quick Trick: Think In Reverse. This one is kind of abstract, maybe makes no sense, but might work for some of you. If I try and block a shot using "story poses", I usually find myself getting stuck. I find it easier to set my first pose, then work through. So sometimes, when I do try and do just story poses, I occasionally think backwards. From a pose that is causing me problems when I come to figure out the breakdowns. So say my keys and breakdowns are working nicely from frames 1 - 30.
