A Bigger Butterfly Shower - 18' dia X 24'h - 2010. My sculpture, photographed by Evan Sung for the New York Times, appeared in the Sunday Styles society page under the caption Winter Flowers (3/7/10). Click on the image to see that snippet. The fully functioning, slowly rotating umbrella, was an armature beneath which cascading paper butterflies danced. The butterflies were constructed using oversized water-color paper in a variety of sizes. Visit special events to see the sculpture in more detail.
