Dr. Tim Rice: Compare and contrast “a” Christian worldview with modern psychology’s worldview.

High School Psychology from a Christian perspective. Saturday, June 2, 2012. Compare and contrast “a” Christian worldview with modern psychology’s worldview. Once in a great while I meet someone who might actually enjoy reading my dissertation. Those are great questions and they represent the biggest decision I had to make before I could frame a psychology text – especially one that would be useful to all Christians. Thanks again for writing. Let me know what you think. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Marty's Blog: January 2008
http://blogofmarty.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Monday, January 28, 2008. Voting With the Gut. I just heard Stephen Colbert (a Comedy Central news show host) speaking at the White House Press Correspondent's dinner with George Bush in attendance. It’s amazing that a guy can speak the way he did just 10 feet away from the leader of the most powerful nation on earth—stinging satire of what George Bush is all about! 8221; How does he know? His gut told him. I'm an evangelical here! Am I jerking any tears out there? Posted by Marty Becktell. Huckabee remi...

http://blogofmarty.blogspot.com/2009/09/mbti-prayers.html
Monday, September 28, 2009. Reportedly, the following prayers have been around for years, but this is the first time I've seen them. They're so dead on! A word about personality typing: One thing I've realized is that if you want to know and understand your own personality, taking a test may not be the best option. It's better to understand the concepts behind the test by reading a book like Please Understand Me II. ISTJ - God, help me to begin relaxing about little details tomorrow at 11:41:32 am. ESFP ...

http://homeschoolpsych.blogspot.com/2011/07/stanley-milgram-of-all-people.html
High School Psychology from a Christian perspective. Wednesday, July 13, 2011. Stanley Milgram, of all people. 50 years ago this month at Yale University, Stanley Milgram, a Harvard PhD social psychologist, conducted one of the most famous, most shocking – in more ways than one – and most disturbing experiments in the history of psychology. What Milgram found was that average normal people, would readily inflict very painful and perhaps even harmful electric shocks on innocent victims. The real subject, ...
