JCP1 - A Java based DIY robot! What can it do? Finally got JCP1 up and running again, well at least the OS, drivers and some software is installed by now. Also did a quick test and got my software running there as well although with no devices active. I see that I have to rip out the annoying little cpu fan on this motherboard, its absolutely terribly noisy spinning at 4000 rpm! I think I have found the best board for a pc based robot now. JCP1 - A Java based DIY robot! What can it do? Problem is that it will probably cost a lot shipping this to Norway. :(. 05 mm Aluminium sheets. 4 cm high Caster wheel. The caster wheel was bought on Clas Ohlssos, and the one the picture is a little taller (4,8 cm) - they dont seem to have the one I bought. I would have preferred these new cool spherical casters made by an Italian company. Also My current caster wheel also needs some grease, because its quite slow to turn with the full weight of the robot.
