Specifications for my Cobra Build. Factory Five Racing and me :-). 1965 Shelby 427 Cobra (approximately - many variants of the original AC/Shelby Cobra were built. This car most closely approximates the 427 version.). The engine is based on a 1960's Ford FE 427 side oiler used in the orignal 1965 427 Cobra. Thursday, September 30, 2010. 7 Trip to New Orleans. WARNING: The following article is NSFW! I love it when a plan comes together…. Pretty much the only way to start any morning in New Orleans: beignets. That is insanely awesome. Some awesome, classic New Orleans architecture. Live music on the streets! How awesome is that? These guys are addictive. They make for some good LCR (Left-Center-Right) fuel as well. The only way this cherub could get any cooler is if it was pissing into a pool or fountain.
