traveling outside karma: Granted.
http://laylainreallife.blogspot.com/2014/12/granted_1.html
Monday, December 1, 2014. This year has been one of self-discovery, formed by St. Augustine's prayer: “Grant Lord that I may know myself, that I may know you.”. This year, counseling has been less of a fairy godmother and more of a doorway, leading inward. More than anything, my counselor asks (often mid-verbal processing unload), "what are you feeling right now? As I've gained a better grasp on what I think and feel (and why), I've been able to more honestly bring my real self to God. And others. Having...

traveling outside karma: My Baba.
http://laylainreallife.blogspot.com/2013/06/baba.html
Sunday, June 16, 2013. Blessings and honor to all the first time and long time papa's out there. To the dad's near and gone, but never forgotten. To all the momma's out there who were also dad's to their kids. To my own "baba", who loves us deeply, sacrificially and. In his own mischievously hilarious way! Thank you for all you've given, modeled and entrusted to us. For skipping to your own beat, standing your ground,. And finding creative ways to bless others. May you be blessed today and everyday.

Stories from the Journey: Panning: take 1
http://tinairene.blogspot.com/2010/12/panning-take-1.html
Stories from the Journey. Thoughts on life, ministry, and other random things. Tuesday, December 21, 2010. On the drive to Loyalton today I decided to take my first shot at panning. It's when the object you are shooting is moving past you (or you are moving past it, in my case) and you want to capture the idea of movement. You take a longer exposure and try to keep the object in the same location in your viewfinder throughout the shot. Harder than it sounds. Posted by Tina Irene. View my complete profile.

Stories from the Journey: Rainy Day In
http://tinairene.blogspot.com/2010/12/rainy-day-in.html
Stories from the Journey. Thoughts on life, ministry, and other random things. Friday, December 17, 2010. Because it was so rainy today and will be until Christmas, I woke up this morning with a goal of trying to capture the "story of rain." To bad I don't like getting wet. Today I warmed up to the idea by taking photos while still inside :). Steamed soy milk with honey and cinnamon. My new afternoon favorite. These were made from old music sheets. Great idea! We were there for a while :).

http://tinairene.blogspot.com/2010/12/rainy-day-out.html
Stories from the Journey. Thoughts on life, ministry, and other random things. Saturday, December 18, 2010. Today with umbrella and towel in hand, I set out to take pictures of the rain and to attempt to capture the story of "wet". I don't know that I love. Any of these pictures, but here was my attempt. Shot from the gazebo in Mitchell Park. In front of Seventh Day Adventist Church. Perfect for rainy day feelings. Posted by Tina Irene. I like that you are blogging more. :) The pictures look great!

traveling outside karma: Legends.
http://laylainreallife.blogspot.com/2014/12/legends.html
Tuesday, December 2, 2014. I stumbled across the new show on Amazon called " Gortimer Gibbon's Life on Normal Street. It has a nostalgic feel to it, a mixture of "Are you Afraid of the Dark? Watching the show got me thinking of the mysteries of my own childhood. One memory in particular popped into my mind. The legend of the witch on Eastern. It was a brief conversation, but long enough to ignite my imagination for the summer. Who was this lady? Was she really a witch? What was a witch? A Fly in the Soup.
