Working On The Window Trail – robwilbourn
https://robwilbourn.wordpress.com/2016/11/30/working-on-the-window-trail
Just another WordPress.com site. Working On The Window Trail. Friday we were fortunately able to walk to work . Our task was to spruce up a two mile long section of the Window Trail, which we could access just below our campsite. More specifically we were to remove the spiny plants to make the walkable width of the trail wider, and since this was Big Bend, there was certainly no shortage of spiny plants! Walking to work on the Window Trail. Spiny plants are everywhere! Our Wilderness Volunteers group.
Monarch Migration 2016 – robwilbourn
https://robwilbourn.wordpress.com/2016/10/10/monarch-migration-2016
Just another WordPress.com site. Arriving home recently from a long road trip, I noticed a couple of dozen Monarchs dining on a robust patch of Blue Mist flowers in our backyard nature space. Last year we were gone during their migration, and in 2014, most of the butterflies we saw were in the greenbelt behind our property. I cannot recall a time when we have seen so many monarchs in one location, let alone in our backyard. Monarch Butterfly (Danaus plexippus) on Blue Mist flowers. Bumble Bee on Blue Mist.
Wilderness Volunteers – Big Bend – 2016 – robwilbourn

Just another WordPress.com site. Wilderness Volunteers – Big Bend – 2016. I recently returned home from a few days in West Texas. The highlight of the trip was a week spent with other Wilderness Volunteers in Big Bend National Park. Traveling with my sister, Charlotte Wilbourn Wilson, we arrived just in time to pitch our tents outside the Remuda in Big Bend’s Chisos Basin the day before our volunteer event was due to begin. Welcome to the National Park. The Window from the trail just above our camp.

This baby just got even more hot for video! More really cool reasons why this is the worlds best option for both video and stills are presented by DPReview here.
