Monday, July 27, 2015. On our family vacation. Thomas told me he was making a veggie dip that he thought i would like. when he said that i pictured dipping carrots into a white, sour cream type dip, which would be the exact opposite of something i would like. so i wasn't quite sold on it. Then, he made what is in the picture above. nothing like i was dreading, and super delicious! The recipe makes a huge bowl of it, so we had leftovers and i took it for lunch for the rest of the week! 1 can blackeye peas.

Where I've Been, Where I Am. It's clearly been so long since I've written a post that the first thing I did when I got on my site was hit "publish" and there was nothing new to publish. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. This project took 5 1/2 years to complete. Both done with each kid at 22months. Silhouettes and hand prints flank the back door. Monday, July 27, 2015. BIG BOY AT THE TABLE. Look who joined us at the table this weekend. So far he hasn't messed with the plate. The first time that plate gets thrown on the floor we're going back to the tray on his booster seat.
