Saturday, October 21, 2006. Went to Nishant (Purdue friend)'s house in Michigan City over the weekend to celebrate the Indian Festival of Diwali and here's a few pictures from our evening drive into the surrounding woods. Pictures should have been taken earlier in the day, but it was overcast anyways. Thursday, October 12, 2006. Flows well with the bike lines. 5 sets of used race tires for mine and Andy's track day needs. He gets the 2 190s and I get the 3 180s. Got them for free from a fellow CL...One l...

Jammin Round the World: December 2006
http://jamminwithjay.blogspot.com/2006_12_01_archive.html
Saturday, December 30, 2006. Previous Stop: Outbound Travel. A typical street in Brussels: buildings close to each other, one way traffic jammed with cars and nice stores. Graffiti in the subway. I found it strange that their subway system is based on an honor system. You don't have to go through a little gate to get to the platform, you're just expected to have paid for a ticket. If you're free-riding and get caught, it's a 50 Euro fine. Kids in front of a chocolate fondue fountain. mmm. An odd-looking ...

Jammin Round the World: April 2006
http://jamminwithjay.blogspot.com/2006_04_01_archive.html
Saturday, April 29, 2006. Meat (15lbs) and Greet (100 Riders) in Western PA. Sport-Touring.Net is an online motorcycle forum that my friends and I are a part of. They've divided the US into 6 regions to make regional meets possible. We in the Midwest are part of Region 4. We keep tabs on events that are happening in neighboring regions, just in case we feel in the mood for meeting some members from other regions. The plan was to leave early Saturday morning and meet Brendan and Todd (rider from Cleveland...

Jammin Round the World: January 2007
http://jamminwithjay.blogspot.com/2007_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 10, 2007. Europe - Travel Inbound. To go to the start of the trip. Previous Stop: Venice and Milan. To get over jet lag on the way back, I had to stay awake the whole flight and the whole next day so that at night back at home, I would fall asleep easily when it was actually waking up time in Europe. Luckily Alitalia had a great in-flight entertainment system with Audio/Video on Demand (meaning I could start/stop/pause whenever I wanted). Back to Trip Index. Monday, January 08, 2007.

Angi the Biker Chick: September 2009
http://angibikerpants.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Angi the Biker Chick. Wednesday, September 30, 2009. Bike needs her beauty sleep. Posted by AngiPants on 2:42 PM. Alexia hasn't been braking to her full capacity lately. I also noticed some fluid on the front of the bike. I took it into Mach 1 for a quick visual and was told the front fork seal was leaking. The fluid had also saturated my front break pads so that was why my breaking was so squishy. Mach 1 told me $350 for parts and service. Ekkks and ouch! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Angi the Biker Chick: July 2006
http://angibikerpants.blogspot.com/2006_07_01_archive.html
Angi the Biker Chick. Friday, July 14, 2006. Posted by AngiPants on 7:33 AM. From my 800 mile trip. In 1990, Sea Elephants started inhabiting the beaches near San Simeon. The come here to molt, feed, have thier pups, and sleep. Mostly to sleep. Fences warn to stay at least 50 feet away. The whole beach looks like this, big mounds of seals, and seals half buried by the sand. We have been spotted! I think we are being watched! See Mr. Trailer at the bottom? Last stop was to see the Ostrich Farm. I can not ...
