Wednesday, October 16, 2013. Installing IBM WebSphere Portal 8 on Fedora 19. The only issue I had was related to the OS prerequisites not being met. All I had to do was temporarily update the /etc/redhat-release to Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.9 (Tikanga).
