http://ccgerwigfamily.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 22, 2009. The Pirate and his Black Cat. Arrr you ready for another dress-up picture? This time we got Kyle in on the action! Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Grace's Perfect Day (and other outdoor fun). Kyle loved being outside too and he especially loves the swings. He giggles constantly while swinging! Then, we went home for a nice long nap. Grace enjoys her sleep. She slept for 3 1/2 hours! This girl plays hard and sleeps hard! What a great day! I love seeing my kids happy! Tuesday, May 19, 2009.

Gerwig Groupies: November 2009
http://ccgerwigfamily.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Saturday, November 28, 2009. For fun, we experimented with the cold weather by sticking a raw egg outside. We let it freeze. Then we peeled it. We sometimes have to make our own fun! We left it out there for a week or so but when it disappeared, we think Vince, our dog, ate it. We'll wrap up this post with a little Texas Pride! Thanks Uncle Michael and Aunt Kathy for reminding the kiddos of their roots! Photos from Sept.). Sunday, November 8, 2009. Not A Baby Anymore! Of course, I'm a bit biased.). Okay ...

Gerwig Groupies: June 2010
http://ccgerwigfamily.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 13, 2010. Chris's Alaska Scenic Adventures! The nearest town was two hours away, but he manged to limp into tiny Cantwell and found someone who could fix the leak and sold him another tire so he had a new spare. When all was said and done, this supposed day trip took him 17 hours. I am sure glad we were not with him. He did earn himself some absolutely gorgeous photos however! One in particular, he had blown up to a huge canvas for his office. The pipeline emerging from the ground. We went t...

Gerwig Groupies: Heather has a baby!
http://ccgerwigfamily.blogspot.com/2010/05/heather-has-baby.html
Thursday, May 13, 2010. Heather has a baby! My sister Heather had her first baby on May 11th! She named her Elliana Lorraine. As an occasional nickname, they call her Elli. She was born on a Tuesday at 9:58pm. She was 6 lbs 8 oz in weight and 20 in long in height, with lots of brown, silky hair. Here are a few precious pics of the newest grand-baby for my side of the family. Elli is number 6 for my parents! Aren't they the cutest little family? The first time we get to meet Elli won't be until Christmas!

Gerwig Groupies: July 2009
http://ccgerwigfamily.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Tuesday, July 14, 2009. For the 4th of July, we went to the North Pole Parade and to the festival afterward. It was cute but only a small town production. We had some fun though. Santa, of course, makes an appearance for any North Pole parade. A True Sourdough Alaskan Truck (sourdough is used up here to describe an old timer, like an old mining prospector). Everyone here proudly claims the "Farthest North" club, council, you name it! Bounce house with slide. That evening, some visiting friends came over ...

Gerwig Groupies: March 2010

Sunday, March 14, 2010. World Ice Art and Ice Park 2010. We LOVE the World Ice Art Championships. It is our favorite winter event up here! Last year, I ended up doing 3 posts about it. This year, I'll try to contain my enthusiasm to one. First, the magnificent sculptures . . . Blue Ring Octopus" - 1st Realistic (USA). Rise of the Sun" - USA. We loved the amazing feather detail. Expectant" - 2nd Abstract (China). Look closely and you'll see the unborn baby image in the center ice. Kyle, not so much. We we...

Gerwig Groupies: January 2010
http://ccgerwigfamily.blogspot.com/2010_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 6, 2010. Grace loves her sleep and has always been a great napper. For the past few months, however, taking a nap caused her not to be tired at bedtime, but without a nap, she was quite cranky by dinner. We faced a big dilemma. In the end, the nap was phased out. Here are some pictures of Grace dealing with the transition. In the Computer Chair. On the Floor in the Middle of Playing. Kyle thought it was funny to play around/over her.). Kyle "playing" on top of Grace. The BIG, unforgett...

Gerwig Groupies: April 2010

Friday, April 30, 2010. Soldiers, Furs, and Tupperware. Chris has to wear his BDUs to work every day, even though when he gets there, he just changes right into scrubs. He looks forward to the day when he actually gets to decide what to wear again. But until then, we had some fun dressing Kyle like his daddy. Aren't my boys so handsome? It's a shoot out! This little man has stolen my heart for sure. Such a happy guy! Concerned that your kids are growing up too fast? Thursday, April 29, 2010. 2 Sled Dog R...

Gerwig Groupies: February 2010
http://ccgerwigfamily.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Sunday, February 28, 2010. Indoor Play and Outdoor Play (Winter). In the winter, we can't always go outside in Alaska. So, we get creative. Indoor Picnic Complete with Food (pretend), Guests (furry friends), and Games (pile of toys and books). All planned and carried out by Grace with Kyle as a willing participant. Eventually, we get sick of inside however. So we'll brave the cold and play outside! Snow Angels with Daddy. Kyle Buried in Snow. Momma Moose and Baby. Momma Stops to Watch Us. Indoor Play and...
