Thursday, 18 February 2010. Is the Physics Engine which is pre-built into 3D S Max. With it we can effortlessly create collisions between solid ojects without the pain of keyframing every small movement or rotation. Http:/ www.be-orange.co.uk/tutorials/3D. Follow the link and downdload "MaxBowl.zip". You will need this for the class excersize. 3D Animation Semester 2: Evaluation
http://chrissielane2.blogspot.com/2010/05/evaluation.html
3D Animation Semester 2. Thursday, 13 May 2010. I am happy with the finished product. It follows the storyboard and plans I made at the beginning of the semester and I kept the animation within certain themes. I believe the story and the animation works well for children. I believe from last semester my 3D max skills have improved especially with lighting. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

3D Animation Semester 2: Overview - Scene Seven
http://chrissielane2.blogspot.com/2010/05/overview-scene-seven.html
3D Animation Semester 2. Thursday, 13 May 2010. Overview - Scene Seven. In this scene it changes rapidly from daylight to night time. I had trouble making the omni light go from a high intensity to a lower intensity so instead I used the set key to move it away from the objects. I then also made a picture of the night sky on a plane drop in in the background. I really liked the effect this created as it fits in with the rest of the animation. 3D Animation Semester 2: Sounds
http://chrissielane2.blogspot.com/2010/05/sounds.html
3D Animation Semester 2. Thursday, 13 May 2010. I wasn't sure whether to add sound effects or not. I thought the first two scenes, the introductions of the birds and the beasts, would greatly benefit with sound effects. I added animal and plane noises to these scenes. I decided to add only quite background noises to the other scenes. Little bird twitter to the outside "green" scenes and I found a good sound effect for a factory which I added to the bird scene. 3D Animation Semester 2: DVD Trouble
http://chrissielane2.blogspot.com/2010/05/dvd-trouble.html
3D Animation Semester 2. Thursday, 13 May 2010. I exported it as an avi. File with no video codec. And a custom present (I found that PAL DV. Made the animation jump). When playing it on the computer it worked fine but when I put it onto disc it didn't play very well. I found copying and pasting. The file from the CD to the desktop made the video work again.
