Wednesday, June 17, 2009. I have often heard that you cannot bring firearms into Canada but in fact some firearms are allowed. So I am taking my shotgun. I went online to the RCMP web site and cruised until I found the links. The main RCMP page. Fact Sheet, "I am a gun user entering Canada". Wednesday, April 29, 2009. Animation of trip down "The Hill" to Bella Coola. This is a rough Google Earth flight from Anahim Lake (190 miles west of Williams Lake) to Bella Coola. It shows "The Hill" and the Bella Coola Valley but shows something else interesting to me. There is a very large flat plateau in the center of BC. I didn't know that. May 7, 2009 at 8:52 PM. Tuesday, March 17, 2009. I just tossed a lit match on the Alaska trip. Woosh! I'm going. Paid the reservations. I'll give a breakdown of ferry costs as I go. 09, a new camping Alaska book. And a roadside fishing book. Maps are coming together. this trip will take a month it looks like. Note: Milepost is good but not put together very well and it is infested with advertising. Nevertheless it is indispensable in my opinion (this is not my first rodeo). Maps will be posted here too. March 17, 2009 at 2:03 PM.
