I get calls from girls sometimes - all with the same exact voice inflection - "Ummm yah, like, are you guys a modeling agency? This voicemail, however is my favorite. Victor - Alyssa - Orion - Cyrus. Tuesday, October 21, 2008. My First Homemade Halloween Costume. Not including that time that Roo. And I made bellbottom pants in 6th grade without a pattern. So what do you think? I didn't paint his face because it was a family Halloween party and he was just going to be running around playing with kids. He didn't even want to settle down for these pictures, can you tell by his sympathy smile? He also has some Skeleton hand gloves that make it better! Look at my babies!

This is the first year I just watched as the kids, who were up to the challenge, carve their pumpkin into a Jack-o-lantern. I definitely love this new role as mom-supervisor instead of mom-slave. I enjoyed all of the benefits of pumpkin carving, which are not really many, and didn't have to stick my hand in any guts.
