Just~One~Life: Bridge Month
http://dawn-dancingintherain.blogspot.com/2013/03/bridge-month.html
My Journey to Tri blog. Friday, March 1, 2013. A month which bridges our winter to spring. It's not a glorious month.there still is snow on the ground. Not pretty. as no flowers dare appear for fear of the certain snowstorms we have yet to endure. Days can be grey and the horizon line meshes with the sky for one never-ending landscape of white. Does not scare me. It's the bridge needed to tolerate and tackle to get us to the Spring of things. I can already feel it coming. And March to me becomes,. March ...

Wheatlands News: memories of Marc
http://wheatlands.blogspot.com/2012/10/memories-of-marc.html
Monday, 1 October 2012. The encounter changed my life in many ways. For one thing, I met my husband through him. I began to realise that not everyone in the world was my enemy. And I had hours and hours of fun and laughter. This past week, Marc has been staying with us. He opened a new exhibition in Cape Town and seemed impressed enough with what he saw of the city to start planning to move here with his wife and children. And I can't wait! 2 October 2012 at 09:00. Maybe I'm lucky to be going so slowly, because I may be going in the wrong direction. Ashleigh Brilliant. One last photoshoot with one of my favourite models. December 2, 2014. One of the first shoots. It’s impossible to explain why this little field became one of my favourite spots in my adopted land; with the charred, abandoned, mostly-forgotten little church nestled in its centre. Maybe I'm lucky to be going so slowly, because I may be going in the wrong direction. Ashleigh Brilliant. A year and a half in the life of an immigrant to Canuckistan. October 27, 2014. Mid May 2013 I left home bound for a tiny town up in the Cariboo, somewhere in western Canuckistan. I spent a few weeks in Europe, just to help acclimatise to life out of Africa, before flying to Vancouver at the beginning of June. At the end of the day I chose 100 photos. There are many people I haven’t feature...Shootin...

I didn't drink the Kool-Aid. It’s my bag, baby*. Random deets about me. It’s my bag, baby*. Please, someone tell me they get the movie referenced in the title of this post). I always enjoy finding out what people shoot with, so I thought I’d open up my bag and show you what’s inside. For starters, my bag is a Tenba. I’ve had a lot of cameras over the years, but I am currently shooting with my second DSLR, a Nikon D7000. I am in love with this camera in ways that might possibly border on criminal. I use U...

Excerpts from the Peanut Gallery: Wu Chao Ying
http://kikitegelberg.blogspot.com/2012/03/wu-chao-ying.html
Excerpts from the Peanut Gallery. Wednesday, March 21, 2012. Ahh I see I have been remiss and after being so good for two whole weeks! Well, fret not my loyal, if small, following. Have I got a treat for you. I do so hope you will accept it as a humble offering for my degenerate failure to post last week. Something had to be done. How can I describe Wu Chao’s? Bold faced flag planting? None of these things. The way I see it, they are doing it the same way they did it in North America: Sell the unsusp...

Magical Moments: Magical Moment 620, "Lilac Garden"
http://onemagicalmomentperday.blogspot.com/2012/05/magical-moment-620-lilac-garden.html
Friday, May 4, 2012. Magical Moment 620, "Lilac Garden". Eddie and I visited the Lilac Gardens at Ringwood Manor in New Jersey, a pristine and beautiful state park with 8 species of lilacs and several varieties within. We went on a rainy afternoon, which turned out perfect because the rain stopped for us when we got there, and began again as soon as we left. It also decorated the plants with gorgeous rain drops, adding to their beauty. And now for a quick game of "Where's Elizabeth? Have a great weekend!
