The Steeds: February 2011
http://jsteedfamily.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 19, 2011. Deep in the Heart of Texas. Although my sister-in-law refers to Austin being a different anatomical part of Texas). Jamie and I went down to check out Austin. My sister-in-law and her family put us up and showed us a good time. Thanks to ya'll for a great weekend! Here we are at Lake Travis. Nice view from Mt. Bonnell (kind of cute that they call this a mountain, silly southerners). Jamie giving Austin his okay. Lest we should forget where we were. Posted by Gina Rochelle.

The Steeds: Steed Nativity
http://jsteedfamily.blogspot.com/2011/02/steed-nativity.html
Friday, February 4, 2011. As I was going through my Christmas pics, I was bothered by an obvious flaw. Where are the Steeds? We saw them over Christmas and had good times and truly love them as much as these picture-hog Cannons. Being a Cannon I worried I was subconsciously being biased and had to do some self- introspection. But then I discovered the pics on my old camera and felt a little better. And I reminded myself that a). Weston was drowning in his wise man robe. Posted by Gina Rochelle. Deep in t...

The Steeds: Fire Station Field Trip
http://jsteedfamily.blogspot.com/2011/03/fire-station-field-trip.html
Wednesday, March 23, 2011. Fire Station Field Trip. Our preschool group enjoyed a fun visit to the fire station. Posted by Gina Rochelle. What a fun little field trip! I have to plan our next preschool groups field trip. How did you go about setting this up? And- I immediately recognized Aria and Laila! They moved from our ward, are they in yours now? My boys were in love with them and my little Sandler still talks about them almost daily. I miss Aleena too, and we were all sad to see them move away!

Jeanette's Kitchen: Popcorn Snack Mix
http://jeanetteskitchen.blogspot.com/2008/08/popcorn-snack-mix.html
One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well." Virginia Woolf. Wednesday, August 6, 2008. I put this together to add to our snack bucket. It appears to be a hit with my son. It makes a lot so you can either cut the recipe by half or share it with some neighbors or friends. (Unless you have a larger family than mine, in that case, I suppose it might not make too much.). 2 bags microwave popcorn. 1 tablespoon baking cocoa. 1 cup pretzel sticks, broken. My parents are in town for the weekend and the family gathered at my house last night. 6 adults and 5 kids.
