I just saw a commercial, can't remember what it was for, but the mom was crying in an uncontrollable sobbing voice "I'm going to miss you" to her teenage daughter. I laughed, realized that was me just a few days ago to my youngest Erin who is about to graduate high school. Why do we go through this? Now on some rare occasions they do move back home and the poor parent is left pondering "what was I thinking, how quickly can they move back out?
