Wednesday, June 24, 2009. We had Constable Paul MacKenzie in to school today to talk to us about his job. We looked at some pictures he had. We also saw his gun and some other weapons that he had. We were all scared by his loud siren and were allowed to look inside his car. He told us that the colours of the cars are soon going to be changed to yellow instead of orange. Room 1 at Picton Primary School. Monday, March 23, 2009. Well, Term 1 of the new year is well underway, we have been learning all about ourselves and about making choices.We have done Cycle Safety and practised our biking skills and signalling on the school court and then out on the main road. We have been learning the De Bono Thinking hats and applying our thinking skills to lots of our work. We have learned about the different types of thinking which go with the different coloured hats.
