I am a research scientist who, in his spare time, enjoys exploring the mathematical theory of music and its relationship to human emotions. When I am not doing research. Rory Lewis: Music Information Retrieval (MIR). For my PhD I studied machine Learning of the mathematics of sinusoidal signals. Nowadays these signals are EEGs from the human brain, during my PhD we used musical waveforms beacuse they were easy to create. Here are some of my papers. We use the word "band" very loosely here!
