Spent a wee packet buying some ski stuff yesterday, extra ski poles, ski bag, pole bag, new waxing clamps, new ski bindings and some kick wax, came to over Euro 600 or so. Arrgh! Struggling up a hill with one of the Norwegian girls and a mini gale nearly blew us off the mountain! So training on the competition track has gone well so far, just have to adjust kick wax zone on the new skis as they are a bit stiffer then the other pair. Rory at the Winter Olympics, Torino 2006. Monday, February 06, 2006. The food is improving and the number of athletes increasing with every day. The social area has fuzz ball, pool and some computer games. And a small dance / theater space. Last night the entertainment manager had a bunch of salsa dancers and they got the brazilians and myself and Philip from kenya out dancing.
