Friday, March 21, 2014. The beginning of February my mom and I took a two day drive to Austin, TX to help my grandmother go through her garage. We had a blast throughout the week and lots of adventures. On the way to Austin, we stopped at the Cadillac Ranch. It was really chilly and windy that day! Monday, January 20, 2014. 2014 got off to a very interesting start. For a couple weeks, we thought I was pregnant. That was exhilarating and terrifying all at once. A couple different blood tests confirmed that I'm just me with crazy hormones. This made us realize that we totally do want a baby, and probably sooner than later. Yesterday was an awesome day. Gotland is a long wool breed, often said to have been established by the Vikings (there is quite a bit of its history on the British Gotland Sheep Society. The ways of the whorl. Wherever the spinning takes me. Here you will find photos of some of the spindles I have made. Jarod is a top whorl drop spindle. The shaft is made out of a Cocobolo chopstick, and the whorl is a metal bowl. It weighs approximately 1oz. I also love casting resin and made quite a few spindles in that way. Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Me and my fiancee. Yup, I'm ENGAGED! My lovely boyfriend Jared asked me to marry him last week. We kept it a secret for a few days and then told our families and now I'm telling YOU! We are so excited. We are planning a wedding for the end of December 2012. The actual proposal was very simple. We were sitting on the couch talking about something completely different and he looks at me and just says, "Will you marry me? Of course I said yes. We kissed and the rest is history.
