Back from New York! Emma is currently crashed out upstairs. - von pud. Feb 10th, 2009 03:17 pm. Back from New York! Emma is currently crashed out upstairs. I'm trying to keep going so I get a good night sleep to be fresh for tomorrow morning. So, New York in summary. New York Comic Con. One final thing on New York. I only noticed this after a couple of days there, but I was blowing my nose and, being male and human, I cannot resist inspecting it. You know what was amazing? So, I'm now back and have a bus...

Heh I've been enjoying the liberty afforded to someone who has - von pud. Apr 5th, 2009 08:07 am. Heh I've been enjoying the liberty afforded to someone who has gone too long without a decent payday. Went out for a very nice dinner with Emma earlier in the week then spent a lot of money in Tesco buying goodies for the family coming down. I promise to be good for the rest of the month now or I'll end up negating the extra pennies. Next month is iphone month. 2009-04-05 05:02 pm (UTC).

Atchoo! - Rachel Mei

Bahhh it's the Bank Holiday weekend and I have a cold, typical! Not as yucky as yesterday, but really tired and my nose is all sore. Despite others comments, no it's not swine flu :p. In other news, the unthinkable has happened. I resigned from my job on Thursday and at the end of the month I shall be moving TO ZA NORTH! I'm thinking I should have some big "hurrah she's leaving! Posted on May. 3rd, 2009 at 03:58 pm. It's lupus. Start her on an IV drip and get a colonoscopy. Stay away from my arse, you!

Good news: It's my birthday! Bad news: I have to - von pud. Jan 30th, 2009 12:18 pm. Good news: It's my birthday! Bad news: I have to go to work. Good news: I managed to fix the problem I was having with my gun. Bad news: I discovered a new problem that, while fixable, requires a new part which Iwon't be able to get in time. Bums. Not to worry, the good thing with Gunman is that there are always guns aplenty. 2009-01-30 01:25 pm (UTC). Appy Birthday, mate! 2009-01-30 02:15 pm (UTC).

Over-reaction? - Rachel Mei

Does that need a heifen? Had a incident at work and I'm not sure whether I was overly sensitive and a bit uptight about it really. I think I'm justified but I hate "ratting" on people as such. We've been having issues with one of our printers this week and had a couple of engineers in from the company that maintain them. WTF creepy creepy go away ; ; Brush it aside, take down details, say thank you and go back to computer intently to stop conversation until he leaves. Got repeated sincere apologies and a...

Stuff for sale! - Rob Makes No Sense
http://hachimaki.livejournal.com/63187.html
Rob Makes No Sense. This summer, I'm doing a fairly major clear-out of all the clutter I've accumulated. Before this stuff goes onto eBay (or into the bin, depending on how lazy I feel at the time), I figured I'd offer it to all your lovely LJ people at mates' rates. Comment if you want anything on the list! I'll do another list in the near future when I have a chance to sort through my DVDs and games. That's a fairly daunting task so I haven't tackled it yet! PC Game Box Sets. Pound;10 for both. Game Ar...

Breaking the 4th wall. 04 October 2009 @ 10:12 am. I think this is the first year that I've woken up and felt like, Oh. It's my birthday. Huh. instead of YAY OMG IT'S BIRTHDAY I WONDER WHAT I'LL GET! I finally feel like an adult, haha. It's kind of nice, I always had crushing over-the-top expectations and now this year I'm like meh, s'cool. Last night my friends from school and I had a party at one of their apartments. It was really fun! Gonna go to Nuit Blanche. 04 October 2008 @ 11:20 am. I am 24 today!

Myths aboot Canada, DISPELLED! - breaking the 4th wall

Myths aboot Canada, DISPELLED! Breaking the 4th wall. 26 May 2009 @ 03:16 pm. Myths aboot Canada, DISPELLED! I was starting to write an entry on how I'm doing, which I WILL get to, I promise, but in the midst of it, I decided I was going to try to dispel some. False Canadian stereotypes, because far too many of you are misinformed, and as the token Canadian (somewhat), I feel the need to educate you all! D So, here goes:. Canada is cold all year round. SO, SO FALSE. And it's there for at least 4 months.

Since I'm now armed with a reasonable amount of photos, it's con report time! Edinburgh flight was about on time, while Glasgow’s (set to leave at the same time) was delayed an hour. Amusing text messaging ensued. The result was effectively that they took off around the time we landed. On arriving, got a spiffy 7-seater taxi to the university! So convenient. After getting out rooms,. Olivia and I headed off to Morrisons for essential supplies (they have Irn-Bru! And visits from others) and then. It was c...
