Julia's Rotary Youth Exchange. Sep 6, 2011. It was such a huge difference from back home. In America, I.D.s are checked at bars, clubs, store check out lines, EVERYWHERE. But here, with just one glance they decided we looked old enough and therefore could drink. I know it's just part of the culture to drink when you're sitting around with friends, but this is going to take a little while to get used to! Sep 4, 2011. I seriously must be dreaming. I've been talking about this exchange for almost a year now but that's the thing- it's only something I've been talking about.
