Lindsey's Adventures as a Goodwill Ambassador. Wednesday, April 13, 2011. The sign o'er the door says haste ye back. There is so much to say about a year in Scotland; much of it has already been said to those who matter most - that is, the people who shared the year with me in some way, shape or form. Which may well include you if you've kept up with this blog all year long! So here I am, now, trying to figure out the next adventure. It is Saturday night, and by instinctive force you head over to the oak...

Lindsey's Adventures as a Goodwill Ambassador. Wednesday, May 26, 2010. President's Dinner, Haddington. Thanks to the Dunbar Club for including me in their President's Dinner in Haddington on May 15. Got some Ceilidh dancing in. And as always good 'craic' with my counselors and Dunbar club members. Craic' is an old word that means good fun, entertainment, conversation. You wouldn't experience 'good craic' alone, even if you are doing something fun, as craic is always social. Wednesday, May 26, 2010.

Lindsey's Adventures as a Goodwill Ambassador. Tuesday, March 30, 2010. Is it possible that rain falls horizontally, vertically, and from the ground up, all at the same time? That's what it felt like today in Edinburgh. Add in wind blowing from the east, the west, from ahead and from behind, and you've got yourself a truly miserable day. All the same, what kind of 400 year old university library closes 4 hours early on account of bad weather? Let's see, for one, there are doors everywhere! Another curiou...

Lindsey's Adventures as a Goodwill Ambassador. Sunday, February 28, 2010. Dear old glasgow toon. The center of Glasgow is a quick train ride from the center of Edinburgh, just shy of an hour's ride. I've been out twice and have enjoyed it each time. Glasgow is quite different than Edinburgh. I actually can't think of two cities being so geographically close and so culturally different. The ladies and the Scots. Peace, love and. Sunday, February 28, 2010. Wednesday, February 24, 2010. Love my new/used iph...
