Colfax Avenue: History of Colfax Avenue
http://www.colfaxavenue.com/p/history-of-colfax-avenue.html
History of Colfax Avenue. Perhaps Denver officials thought that renaming the street would help the state's cause. But if help with achieving statehood was the reason for the street's name change, it didn't help much. Colorado did not become a state for another eleven years. Curse these vexatious rickets! While Colfax Avenue...

Roadside Trail Mix: June 2010
http://roadsidetrailmix.blogspot.com/2010_06_01_archive.html
Thursday, June 24, 2010. While mapping out our vacation this year, when I suggested starting in Savannah, GA and then driving up the coast, my husband said he wanted to make it to New Jersey to visit a hamburger joint. I thought, so I added it to the list of possible attractions. We had a full day of driving from Wildwood, NJ where we stayed at the wonderfully renovated yet vintage Caribbean Motel. Upon checking in, which was done by hand not computer, we were given a real key on a vintage style key ring.

Hallmarks of a Lady. Essays, Short stories, Hardcore Ish, and Bullhonkey (c). I told you I loved you. But I’ve been saying the same thing about pickle juice for years and I still don’t know if I mean it. I can’t help myself. One thing is certain though. With pickle juice, I can walk away at any time. I can come and go as I please. And I really need that kind of freedom. So, when all is said and done, I think I do love pickle juice and I’m pretty sure I never loved you. Sorry for the confusion. Though it ...
