ciscorambling: Understanding Windows NT trust relationships
http://ciscorambling.blogspot.com/2009/04/understanding-windows-nt-trust.html
Thursday, April 30, 2009. Understanding Windows NT trust relationships. Nice article that I found while searching for Trust relationships in the Windows NT domain. What's a trust relationship? If you have a situation in which users in both domains need to access resources in both domains, you can establish a two-way trust. By doing so, users in either domain may access resources in either domain. For example, a user in domain A could access resources in domain A and domain B. Likewise, a user...Transitiv...

Thursday, April 30, 2009. Windows NT 4 Domain Models. Nice article that I found on Win NT domain model. There is one domain with accounts and resources. The advantages:. 160; * Works best for small organizations. 160; * Centralized management of users and resources. 160; * No trusts involved. Single Master Domain model :. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Some good links to get started with Nexus 1000-V. Is Cisco selling a new car? Or what is the Cisco Nexus 7000? How will the Cisco Nexus 1000V change your job role? Cisco taking greater investment in VMware - both with cash and Nexus. VIDEO: Cisco Nexus 1000-V. Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Monday, December 22, 2008. It was a bit puzzling at first since you could ping these sites but could not access them via a web browser. The problem was the MTU setting. Ip tcp adjust-mss 1452.

Friday, February 13, 2009. Some very important things that I learnt today about the Nexus platform. 1) When we say 80Gbps full duplex, it actually means 80In 80Out = 160Gbps of effective bandwidth. The bandwidth of a module is measured by the bandwidth of the interconnections between the fabric interface and the fabric ASIC. Nexus 7k System Bandwidth Calculation. 230Gbps/slot) * (8 payload slots) = 1840Gbps. 115Gbps/slot) * (2 supervisor slots) = 230Gbps. Friday, February 13, 2009. Congestion Notificatio...

CCIE R&S #23895 trekking towards CCIE SP. Monday, August 24, 2009. Finished 1-9, on 10. for the second time. I decided to redo the first 10 labs of IPX vol1 and I'm glad I did, I think I gained a firmer understanding of what the labs were about and coupled with the labs, I re-read MPLS Fundamentals. not the whole thing but certain chapters. I figure I'll finish up lab 10, re-read RSVP and TE and then do lab 11. I'm thinking I would like to see some more configs. Labels: IPX vol 1. Tuesday, August 4, 2009.

CCIE R&S #23895 trekking towards CCIE SP. Thursday, October 28, 2010. INE Vol 1 multicast - Lab 3 - Multicast RPF Failure (3rd Pass). So this lab deals with Multicast with broken uRPF due to PIM no being enabled on preferred route/link. The best way to determine where the problem is, is to use "no ip mroute-cache" on the the PIM enabled interfaces and to "debug ip mpacket". Of course, you'll want to log this to the buffer and not the console. Labels: INE Vol 1 - multicast - 3rd pass. INE Vol 1 - 2nd pass.

CCIE R&S #23895 trekking towards CCIE SP. Saturday, October 23, 2010. INE Vol 1 - Lab 21 - Controlling MPLS Label Distribution (3rd Pass). Don't forget when restricting label advertisements using "mpls ldp advertise-label for X to Y" that you need to disable mpls ldp advertise-labels for ALL labels which is on be default and won't show up in the config. No mpls ldp advertise-labels. Mpls advertise-labels for X to Y. Labels: INE Vol 1 - 3rd pass. List of things to review in no specific order:. Passed Micr...

Outbound filtering and Inbound filtering. No mpls ldp advertise-labels. Mpls ldp advertise-labels for 51 to 50. Access List 51 is ACL for the prefixes and ACL 50 is the ACL for the LDP neighbor.
