The race starts and finishes in Rovaniemi and runs through the wilderness around the city. The all track is a mixture of snowmobile trails and forest roads. The track also traverse a frozen river and a frozen lake.The trail is marked with stakes, plastic ribbon and reflective tape. There are five (5) mandatory checkpoints. POROHOVI 1, shelter, campfire and water.
